100mm Walk`n`Minnow topwaters
Another new bait for 2012, these are a more conventional topwater. Approx 4" (100mm) long and 14g in weight, with a classic "walk the dog" action. Through wired, treated balsa construction, a tough epoxy topcoat, and fitted with size 1 round bend trebles and stainless split rings. Only one colour available, which I consider the best choice the majority of the time for surface lures. The black body giving a good silhouette while the fluro yellow back giving good visibility to the angler, especially in low light. A very easy bait to work, with twitches of the rod.

4" (100mm) Magnum Walk`n`Shads *NEW*
These baits came about purely by accident...Originally built as Magnum Crank`n`Shad bodies, my curiosity got the better of me and I tried them as surface baits before fitting the lips. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement!! The walk the dog, gliding action is superb, and they can be fished either on the surface as a true topwater, or, with harder jerks, subsurface like a glidebait.So, the 4" Magnum Walk`n`Shad is born!!

Summer 2012 stock
60mm Slide`n`Shad twitchbait
Approx 60mm long, and 10g in weight. The sink rate has been increased slightly to give more control, and to improve the side-to-side action. Sink rate around 2 secs per foot. Very easy to work with short twitches of the rod, which causes the bait to glide side-to-side like a larger, more conventional jerkbait.
Through-wired, treated balsa construction, tough epoxy topcoat and fitted with size 6 round bend trebles and stainless split rings. Colours as per the Crank`n`Shad colour charts below.

A very popular bait over the last year which accounted for large Pike, Perch, Brown Trout and Chub . Approx 60mm long, and 7g in weight. A shallow runner down to 2ft or so. Through-wired, treated balsa construction, and finished with a tough epoxy topcoat. Can be fished with a variety of retrieves. Works very well when twitched, or with a stop and go hesitant cranking retrieve - fish love to hit these on the pause!
Fitted with size 6 round bend, needle sharp trebles and stainless split rings. Now available in no less than 50 colour patterns!

New blog, new venture....
After getting back into serious luremaking again late last year, and after all the positive feedback from those who`ve used my handmade lures, I`ve decided to take the plunge and sell them commercially.
The initial plan, is to continually offer batches of new baits, as opposed to having a standard range, which will hopefully encourage potential customers to drop in regularly to see whats new.
Once I finish my initial stocks to get started, I`ll be updating the blog weekly with new batches of baits, along with (hopefully) accompanying video clips so customers can see exactly how the lures work, and know what theyre buying before they part with their hard-earned cash.
Currently, my inventory of baits that I`ve built so far, covers everything from tiny 2" minnows and crankbaits, up to larger, conventional Pike lures up to 8" long. Minnowbaits, crankbaits, jerkbaits and Spinnerbaits, deep diving baits, shallow subsurface baits and most things in between.
The majority of my baits are made from specially treated Balsa, through wired for maximum strength, airbrushed using Createx and Golden airbrush paints and finished in tough, durable epoxy topcoats. All the baits are individually weighted, tank tested and tuned before going up for sale, so every effort is made to offer customers a durable, quality lure which works as it`s supposed to.
I`m currently in the process of building the first batch of 100 or so baits for sale, which includes two styles of small 2" shallow, flat sided crankbaits, small 2" minnowbaits, 4" minnowbaits, 4" flat sided crankbaits and 3 styles of mini jerkbaits. All going well, this first batch of baits will be online for sale early next week,along with payment details, so come back soon.
